DogGoneHandy's production supervisor, David LeCourt, recently became one of a select group of professional builders, remodelers, nationwide who have earned the Certified Green Professional (CPG) designation, identifying David as someone with knowledge of the best strategies for incoporating green building princliples into homes. The CPG programs is administered by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and sponsored locally by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. In three days of course work the CPG curriculum incorporates a variety of information tailored to green building and business practices.

Hosting the Dave Baker Show on WSB radio (750 AM) every Saturday morning, Dave gives out advice on home repairs, maintenance and increasing the value of your home. DogGoneHandy participated in the 2009 "National Night Out" for Piedmont Heights neighborhood on August 4th. A neighborhood block party and fundrasier brought together police, firemen and other community partners to fundraise for the Atlanta Police Department in Zone 6. Karen King & Donna Southwick from Home Rebuilders & DogGoneHandy were on hand to meet the neighbors and represent the Dogs with giveaways and information. Paul Ossmann and Fred Kalil from Channel 11 were on hand at the event to MC and giveaway tons of raffle prizes including DogGoneHandy gift certificates and Paul McCartney tickets. A good time was had by all.
